Taco Rolls

Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 lb Ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup Refried beans optional
Wrap
  • 8 pieces Tortillas flour or corn
Toppings
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup Tomato diced
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream for serving
  • 1/2 cup Salsa for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the taco seasoning and water according to package instructions. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix in the refried beans and half of the shredded cheese until well combined.
Assemble the Rolls
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place a tortilla on a flat surface, add a portion of the filling, and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  3. Roll the tortilla tightly and place seam-side down on a baking sheet. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  2. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Serve
  1. Serve warm with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa on the side.
