Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 cup Ground Beef Cooked and seasoned with taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 cup Black Beans Drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup Corn Frozen or canned
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream For serving
  • 1 tsp Taco Seasoning
Bite Assembly
  • 1 package Wonton Wrappers
  • 1 egg Egg Beaten, for sealing
  • 1 cup Oil For frying

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked ground beef, mozzarella cheese, black beans, corn, and taco seasoning. Mix well.
Assemble the Bites
  1. Lay out wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each wrapper.
  2. Brush the edges of the wrappers with beaten egg. Fold the wrappers over the filling to create a triangle and seal the edges tightly.
Fry the Bites
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  2. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve
  1. Serve warm with sour cream on the side for dipping.

Notes

These bites can also be baked for a healthier option. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
