Ingredients
  

Cream Cheese Spread
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup strawberries hulled and diced
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Sandwich Assembly
  • 8 slices white bread or whole wheat
  • 1 tbsp butter softened, for spreading

Method
 

Prepare the Cream Cheese Spread
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, diced strawberries, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Assemble the Sandwiches
  1. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Spread a generous amount of the strawberry cream cheese mixture on the unbuttered side of half of the bread slices.
  3. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out, to form sandwiches.
  4. Using a bread knife or cookie cutter, cut the sandwiches into quarters or desired shapes.
