Prepare the Salmon Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, bread crumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the Cakes
- Shape the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick.
Cook the Salmon Cakes
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the salmon cakes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve
- Remove the salmon cakes from the pan and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
