Ingredients
  

Salmon Burger Patties
  • 1 pound fresh salmon fillet skin removed
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
  • 1 large egg lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Toppings
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese optional
  • 4 buns burger buns toasted
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1/2 cup tartar sauce for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Salmon Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
Cook the Patties
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Place the salmon patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  3. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. To assemble, place a salmon patty on each toasted bun and top with lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy!
