Ingredients
  

Mushrooms
  • 4 pieces portabella mushrooms stems removed
Marinade
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Marinate the Mushrooms
  1. Place the portabella mushrooms in the marinade and let them sit for at least 15 minutes.
Grill the Mushrooms
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the marinated mushrooms on the grill, gill side down, and cook for about 5 minutes.
  2. Flip the mushrooms and grill for another 5 minutes until tender.
Serve
  1. Remove from the grill and serve warm as a side dish or on a bun as a vegetarian burger.
