Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  • 1 lemon juiced

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
Finish the Dish
  1. Remove the skillet from heat, add the remaining butter and lemon juice, stirring until the butter is melted and the shrimp are well coated.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately over pasta or rice.
