Caramelize Onions
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions, salt, and sugar.
- Cook the onions, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and caramelized, about 25 minutes.
Mix Dip
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and mayonnaise.
- Add the caramelized onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Mix well until combined.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Serve
- Garnish with chopped chives and serve with chips or vegetables.
