Method
Assemble Sandwiches
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.
- On the unbuttered side of four slices, layer corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut.
- Drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the sauerkraut.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out.
Cook Sandwiches
- Heat a pan over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the pan, slice in half, and serve warm.
