  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until well blended.
Marinate the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken pieces in a storage container or a resealable plastic bag.
  2. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
  3. Seal the container or bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for best results.
