Ingredients
  

Burger Patties
  • 1 pound ground chicken preferably dark meat for juiciness
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg to bind the mixture
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs optional, for texture
Toppings
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese optional
  • 4 buns burger buns toasted
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or your favorite sauce

Method
 

Prepare the Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
Cook the Patties
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  2. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Place each patty on a bun and top with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise or your preferred toppings.
