Ingredients
  

Onion Mixture
  • 4 medium Onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for sautéing
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Cheese Mixture
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
Topping
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs for topping
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons Butter melted

Method
 

Prepare the Onions
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions, salt, and pepper. Sauté until onions are caramelized, about 15 minutes.
Mix Cheese Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cheddar cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, and thyme. Mix until smooth.
Combine and Bake
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a baking dish, layer the caramelized onions and cheese mixture. Top with breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese mixed with melted butter.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
