Method
Prepare the Vegetables
- Wash and shred the cabbage, julienne the carrots, slice the bell pepper, and prepare the snow peas.
- Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
Make the Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and sugar (if using).
Stir Fry
- Heat the wok over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Serve
- Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve hot.
