Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together all the dry rub ingredients.
- Rub the mixture generously over the beef ribs.
Cooking
- Place the ribs in a baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
- Remove the foil and brush the ribs with barbecue sauce.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional hour, uncovered, until tender.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach at least 190°F (88°C) for optimal tenderness.
Serving
- Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
