Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the applesauce, beaten egg, and honey until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
Baking
  1. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  4. Allow to cool completely before serving to your dog.
